Ashley N Valdez. 11 years old. Took care of a younger mentally challenged sister, lived with her mother who worked and was studying to be a paramedic. Gets home from after school activities and bus drops her off when a guy runs her over and takes off. This shit happened close by my house. I got there as they tried to revive her. I drive by everyday as people mourn and pass out flyers to try and catch this piece of shit. 8 days later police get the coward that killed a little girl and didn't have the decency to stop or do anything at all and they let him out on bail?

$15,000 IT'S WHAT A HUMAN LIFE IS WORTH?

I fucking hate this goddamn system where you can kill or rape and get out on bail but if you get caught downloading a movie you are committing a federal crime punishable by death.

his actions will dictate his sentencing all those factors will be taken into account the times he was running all that

but seriously vehicular homicide cases get on average WAY shorter sentences hell be eligible for parole prob the first year

I don't think the system is right, I don't think 15K should be the freedom of a guy that has admitted to murder, I don't think it's fair that this little girl is dead while a piece of shit walks and it does make me emotional because every day on my way to work I pass by the place where I saw paramedics trying to revive her.

What sucks is that even if they find him guilty, he'll spend the next couple years rent free with 3 meals a day and cable. Then he gets left out early and all is good. But somehow getting caught with pot or graffity will get you a sentence longer than that.

I can't do that, I work and I got too much shit to help that way. But the day it happened and next day which I had off, I drove around my area looking for the vehicle. I even found another white truck with front end damage that I called in but wasn't it. I beleive in Karma big time, and I guess you are right about not letting this get to me since he'll get what he deserves eventually. It's just upsetting. We all drive stupid. Fuck I don't think anyone here can't say they have not drifted a corner or raced someone in the street or something like that. It's fucking scary to think that could be you. I would like to think that in a situation like that I would stop and help and accept the consequences. I'm the type of asshole that gets off his car to help someone push their broken down vehicle. I have pulled people out of their cars after an accident twice before. I guess that's why it bothers me that someone else can just drive away and hide.

1. i didnt even state an opinion i stated fact. the 15,000 bail isnt where the justice is served all it is is a fee

2. you wrote "your" as if "innocent until proven guilty" was my opinion. that aswell is a FACT thats how our system works it is not MY opinion of how it should work lol

and you don't know what actually happened. yeah a girl got hit and died. it could have been her fault though. My mother and i witnessed a 15 y/o get hit on a bike leaving her H.S. She became a vegetable as a result. It was her fault though and i remember how much pain it brought to the driver and my mother to have to tell that to the police. If i were the driver, i may have contemplated fleeing the scene too. Shit like that fucks with your head. if it was his fault, well im sure it was an accident and as much as it may suck to you that this guy killed someone you care about, accidents happen. You may make that mistake one day too and i'm damn sure you wouldn't think it was fair if you got some life sentence for it or something.

Is the guy free to go where he wants and enjoy dinner with his family? If so, then he has freedom. And you can quote me on this, I hope that if a day comes where I kill someone by mistake and run away to hide then I hope the family of the victim hunts me down and kills me like a coward.

I know a lot of idiots walk in the middle of traffic like cars don't hurt. This wasn't the case. There's witnesses, there's admission of guilt. It wasn't that little girls fault, and every night this guy gets to stay alive wether in jail or not is not fair, so in this particular case bail is freedom and bail is definitely an injustice.

The first thing you do is tell me 15k is not a sentence. You are trying to correct me but I had already written it was his bail so it seems to me like you type shit just to type without reading.

Then you tell me he is innocent until proven guilty like if there's any doubts that this guy did this. I posted a link in the OP talking about the investigation and aprehension of a suspect and finally his arrest. It even talks about his confession. Yet you feel that saying something as stupid as "innocent until proven guilty" is not some kind of instigation?

I'm obviously feeling somewhat emotional of the subject to the point that typing it's what lets me get the anger out. Even a bit of debating is ok, but you can't type two legitimate sentences without calling me a bitch for stating opinions and you still think that's not instigation?

I'm sorry my post isn't as engaging as you discussing hooking up with a black chick. (Congrats again by the way) I don't take you seriously at any point man.
