Just sold my hatch.. so I'll have around $10k to play with.. what can I buy that's good for $10,000? catch is that it has to be RWD, and 2000 and up in year. ]= I was thinking a camaro SS or mustang GT.. hmm.. camaro makes more power.. but mustang sounds cooler. which one can drift better? 0_o
but yeah any input would help. I need ideas on diff. cars i can get.

camaro ss >>>>>> mustang

more power, more reliable, less common then your average mustang. Transam WS6 would be another option if your looking for an f-body. if you do decide t go down the camaro/muscle road, hit me up

drifting a camaro, mustang, or any muscle car is different then your probably used to however, due to the shitloads of torque your going to have. makes life easier in some instances, but adds new challenges as well. suspension takes an even bigger roll if you want to actually drift instead of just fishtail every corner. making the car get sideways is nothing...but keeping it sideways and sustaining is a whole other isssue

FD RX-7 if you can find one, if not put it on a down payment on a IS300 or S2000 or 350Z. I would use 1grand of it to buy a pos, save the rest and just save your money.

10k could buy you a project drift car and a good down payment on a decent 2000+ DD.

if you don't need passenger room, get an single cap pickup (like an S10 or Tacoma) and an S13. that way you won't have to worry about "how would I get home if I wreck" and you'll have a place for tires.

buy a built to the max s13 for 5-6K and buy a civic for reliable DD mpg ownage.

be happy.

I fell you, the truck in my sig is my F150, and now that I have the Miata I only drive h truck when Hialeah floods

I would honestly save the $10,000 for a down payment on a house/condo or something worth making an investment in, unless you've already done that and have an extra 10k to blow. If not, then I wouldn't spend it on a 10-15 year old car. SR swapped 240 does not qualify for a good investment.
