Is it just me or are we feeling the hurricane katrina itch again? Went to put gas this morning and i almost fell on my bum when I saw the prices. I was going to splurg today and put premium but said to mickey with that when I saw the $2.99 price tag. Everyday I see that it makes me want to go turbo less and less...

$3.10 cents here bro....2.99 was so0o0o0o0o0o last week for us in the Keys.

It sucks living in the Keys, you get EVERYTHING LAST....except the gas prices.
The money hungry gas mongers will not deter me from becoming boosted....
 
well now i know why the cubans were syphering gas out of the pumps in hialeah! and they were doing that when has was like $2.50 so imagine now.
 
a well tuned turbo setup gets the same gas mileage as stock if you stay out of boost.... it's only your right foot you need to worry about if you're boosted ;)

You never drove a turbo car. I dont care how conservative you are... you cannot keep it out of boost. It's human nature to kick it in boost every now and then.

it just takes sum gettin used to when i used to have my gs-t with out even noticing it i just started dily driving out of boost all the time
 
I dunno about that.

Granted I'm not boosting 24/7 when I daily drove the 325i.... but I've driven almost a handful of boosted cars and rode in a quite a couple already.... and I see the boost gauge creep past 0 quite a few times. Example in city driving whenever you pass someone.
 
it sucks knowing my drift car waste less gas than my daily :(

is gotten ot the point where i dont even look at the prices any more, around my house they all vary 1-2cetns at most :-/
 
damn bro i used to fill my tank with 20 bucks now i cant even get half....thats CRAZY! i cant wait till the next hurricane just to steal gas... :D
 
just left the shell station by the house and pumped $30 and the needle didnt go all the way up, its almost there but not quite. thats ridiculous, I was in the market for a G35 of FX35, but I might hold that thought for a little while.
 
LOL, Get a damn Hybrid and stop Whinning, things are not going to get better any time soon. So get all the sand out of your vaginas, and drive. (remember to do all your shifting under 2k rpms)
 
I have the answer. ditch your cars and start figuring out how to drift motorcycles. its the only way
 
Motorcycle drifting is being around since the early 1900. Its not call drifting they go sideways in an oval.
 
whats the news down there? how much are you guys spending per gallon??? last week I spent $40 filling up the 240 $3.11 a gallon.
