well , friday before the event i went to the dyno with my new microtech lt10 . spent all day there and couldnt figure out why the leading coils were firing a full 180 degree off from the trail coils..... checked the wiring so many time it wasnt funny...... everything was wired correctly. so then we changed the coil packs..... still the same problem. then we realized that there was another problem, only one of the leading coils and one of the trailing coils were firing. so we finally realized that the computer itself wasnt sending out a pulse to those coils . ........... so we trailer the car back to the shop and i get started on taking all the harness and computer out of the car. lucky enough my mechcanic has a ltx-8 in his first gen. so i take that out of his car and strip the harness of all unnessisary wires ( it was setup for 8 1600cc injectors! ) so at 4 am i get the car started!. back to the dyno at 9 am sat. car ran awesome.put down 320 to the wheels at a 14psi. full boost at 3500 rpms thanks to the gt3587r :bigthumbu . so since i threw everything togetther the night before i had to clean some stuff up and fixed a leaky injector. so after i did that the car would not start at all..... WTF! i checked everything and couldnt find what was wrong. so i wasnt able to drive my car sunday. so at 10am sunday i call dorian up and tell him what happened and hes like "well do you wanna use my car?" of course i said yeah , so i pick his car up. get on the highway and cant go over 65 cuz the rear had just gotten all new linkages and was never alligned. so i get there at 1230. practice is over! so i have a car that was scary doing 70 in a straight line let alone trying to go sideways, no practice at all that day. my first 2 runs sucked really bad , the car was so hard to feel. i manage to pull off a "decent" run and and quailfied 11th haha. i was shocked, i really couldnt believe it. anyway heres my run.

Very nice vid. Why didn't you just mount the camera on the roof, so it would be facing the right direction lol? That track is a lot of fun, it was funny what the Drift 411 guys said. How this track is nothing they are use to, very fast, tight, etc.
 
That was an awesome run for having no practice and being in someone else's car. Did you ever get the car figured out?

I love it enough to continue putting in good engines before events.

I had to, before the event my car has been parked for 9 months with broken pistons. Then worked on it for a week strait getting the 1\4 panel finished and another engine put in and tuned good enough to kill it sunday. :)
 
camera angle was wierd it seemed like you were going to spin out on the first corner! badass
