motorcycle helmets work fine if you want you can take off the visor or use it as is... I work at riva yamaha we have some for like $90
 
like safety certified? I have a KBC TK77 viper. Lol it says Certified to British Standard 4110.
 
Yes dont buy just a regular DOT approved cycle helmet, buy a real snell approved helmet. Auto-x only allow them as a of lot of other sanctioning bodies, I paid $90 for my HJC

Snell crtified only no other standard works and I would wait 3 mounths to buy a new helmat becouse at the end of january all helmets to thos certifacations above will be void and the new standard will come out ahahahahahahaha if you don't care about waight then rci raceing helmit if you care about waight then bike helmit that is snell certified.... ( can withstand 200mph crash)
