What exhaust are the 240sx peeps using and how do you like it?

I am buying a new exhaust and was woundering what is worth the money? I was leaning toward the Buddy Club Spec 2. 3 in piping is what I need! Please help me out. I know it is a personal opinion ,but just trying to get ideas!

Love the HKS-Hi power. the CA sounds amazing..... friend has the Greddy EVO2 which also sounds great on his SR.

didnt like the SSAC exhaust little too abnoxious for my taste.

i have the buddy club spec 2 on my n/a ka.
works great, ive had no problems, leaks or anything with it. sounds awesome. not extremely loud but still a nice deep sound. not ricey. and you can always use the silencer if you really wanna keep it down, which works wonderfully and i have an extra one if you need.
and i believe they are on the lesser priced end of the spectrum too..so thats always a plus

paul fryburg custom 3inch turbo back with an ebay apexi muffler!!!!!!!!!!! sounds nasty on the boost setup!!!!!!!!!

I built my own and bought a Megan tip. Total costed me 200 bucks. I just took my car to a exhaust shop that had a 3" mandrel bender and they made it for me. This way I got to add my own resonators, and stuff wherever I wanted!

The only other thing I would use would be the Greddy J-spec exhaust. 4 inch turbo back. Inc. 3" to 4" downpipe, 4" cat delete, and 4 inches the rest of the way.

4" FTW

Apexi GT spec.

Sounds good, nice build, but too big to go retarded low. Anyone want to trade (not looking for cheap stuff)? For s13.

I got the megan on my SR. I hate it!!!!!!! It's so loud and annoying going down the interstate!!!!!!

Well I know I am gonna have to lower the car . I have 002's on it. I need to change over my coilovers from my old S13 . JDM180 is a close friend of mine and his Apexi exhaust drags like no tommarrow. I think it my just be that his suspension is for the shit though.

question.. many people told me this is a bad idea, but im running this on my n/a KA as of now. i have custom bent piping from an exhaust shop.. do pre-bent pipes really perform better than custom bent at an exhaust shop? im debating on what to do for my next car.

Mandrel bent pipes are no different than "pre-bent" They have 3" all the way through the curve.

The thing you do no want is Crush bending. It looks like there are tons of folds in the metal around the curve. This will change the actual diameter of the pipe from 3" to 2.75" or something like that. This is very bad for flow and can create alot of popping in your exhaust sound. The best thing is to have as little bends in the exhaust as possible.

It's very nice when you can find an exhaust shop with a mandrel bender ( check out semi-shops or places that make deisel truck exhausts :) )
