Welded diff ????

I know the welded diff is best for a drift car because you have that constant lock you want while drifting, but how well does a welded work for auto-crossing? will the constant lock cause too much over steer ? Does anyone have any experience auto crossing with a welded diff ?

j30 would be best, they suck for drifting but lock up for launching of the line

im guessing thats wat ud want for autocross

J30s are garbage for anything other than daily. And welded is terrible for anything other than drifting. If you want something for autocross go 1.5 it will work best

so im guessing a 1.5 way would be the best for drifting and autocrossing. thanks for the information guys.

Yes you can drift on the 1.5 but if you are going to drift more than autocross go 2way if you are going to autocross more go 1.5

i was actually wondering the same. theres a group of people who host autox events at the bank atlantic center, and was thinking about taking my coupe out there but wasnt sure how the welded diff would do on the autox track.

I've driven a car with a j30 and my car with a welded and for drifting welded is so much better
