weight reduction thread

If theres anyone out there that has info on stock 240 weight throw it up. I'll update here everytime we get new info. I think this would help alot of people on this site since most of you drive hella stripped 240's. What I want to achieve is a weight reuction chart for everyone.

P.S. It would be great if this gets stickied, I think this is a very useful thread. Thank you :bigthumbu

As of now:

S13 89-93 coupe 2699lbs
S13 89-93 fastback 2730lbs
S14 95-98 coupe 2800lbs

stock S13 parts:

Doors 40lbs each
Fuel 6.15lbs per gallon so thats 6.15 times 15 gallons of fuel= 92.25lbs

:0ld: :slap:

Thats nice but the point is for the info to be up already without having to search for it. Ofcourse the info is around... Duh but not everyone that is a member of this site is also a member of every 240sx forum in the world. I for example am a member of 240sx.org but never go on there, so thank you for your needless input. If you don't have anything to good contribute to this thread other then nonsense, do you brah. Thats my nice way of saying SHUT THE FUCK UP, THANX!!!! As a matter of fact, you seem like someone that would start talking shit just to start some E-BEEF, so I won't be replying to anymore of your retarded comments. Thank you and have a nice day.

" nonsence" LMAO
ok

here is a weight reduction...

Take out EVERYTHING inside the car except the ecu/ stering column/ driver seat.
strip the interior, then take the sound deadening out with dry ice, you buy at publix.

then take out the windows and put lexan,
then get carbon fiver rims
then change the doors to crabon fiver and all the fenders and hood too.!!!
then run ur JD<M engine with no aC or no p.s

and take out ur headlights.
and your bumper supports.
and replace all your body bolts for Zip ties.

and go to the gym and drink sum protein , that will lower ur weight,

and that should be pretty much it.. lol :bigthumbu

Listen kid, I never asked uhhh" can someone tell me how to drop weight on my 240"???? I was asking if anyone had info on stock parts of the 240. This way you might know where to drop weight first etc. You don't just start dropping weight blindly when you're tunning a car. All I wanted to do was list up info that would helpful to someone whos just staring up. Me I know what to do, as a matter of fact this will be my 3rd 13.5 im building. If you don't like my thread, go jump off a cliff err don't comment. Again thank you and keep your comments on pm's please Thank you.

are you fucking kidding me lol
all yo do is rip everything the fuck out lol as long as u dont mess with anything that will mess with a cars structure, ridgidity, or electrical. dash, all ac components, pass. seat, rear seats, lexan windows (speedglass.com), carpet , sound deadoning its nothing serious
you can deffinately blindly drop weight

I don't get the point of your thread then  . What are you building your car for?

EX:
Sergio (miami-200sx) cares about ONE thing, performance, he doesn't care about comfort. His S13 is stripped/gutted/fucking D1 style.

If you would like to keep some type of driveability/comfortability in your car. But would also like to shed some pounds, then do what I did. And gut the rear. Leaving the carpet/door panels/dash etc etc etc...

All depends what you're doing with your car.
