Water in my Oil... Now what?

Recently ive been noticing my radiator has been loosing a goood amount of water, but I didnt think much of it til I saw a puddle of milky oil on my driveway.. The motor is a Redtop SR - That I just rebuilt less than 4k ago with new everything... Dyno'd and ran fine... WTF...

I need some advice on wtf to do next.. or where to look for the problem(s)

How would I get all that bad oil out of the car? What tests should I run? Put a F/S sign on it? :wtf:

headgasket blow or, and i am asking a ? here, are those turbos water cooled? if so you might want to check out the turbo cause the seals might be leaking. do a pressure check on the radiator the testers look like this.

check and see if water goes into the engine oil. if not then check the turbo.

leave the radiator cap open and start your car, if you can see shock waves from the combustion chambers in the water in the rad. then its a blown headgasket for sure. if not then compression test it tomake sure.
 
it might not be a compresion leak it might be a leak between the water and oil passage. not to sound like an asshole but you might not have 1. tighten the headbolts enough, you always re tighten the head after 100 miles of a rebuild or 2. you tighten the bolts in the wrong order or 3. bad gasket to begin with. i sent you a im on aim with my number if you need help give me a call.

yeah your right it might not be a compression leak especially if your car doesnt smoke. did you use arps? did you machine the head? what brand gasket did you use? either way whatever a compression test wont tell you, a pressure test of the rad will.
 
its not oil leak, the water is getting into the engine oil, like i said it could be one of three things well 4, but head gasket blow in between the oil and water passage, head bolts are not tighten and warped the head or is not sealing correctly, cracked head or cracked block or turbo seals are shot. there really no other way the water can get in the engine oil.

oh shit my bad didnt read that. well its a ka its going to leak or it doesnt have oil in it. lol but if you look at the dip stick and it looks like milk shake then theres a problem.
 
If it was rebuilt I'd bring it to the builder if it was a shop. Sounds like your your head gasket wasn't sealed properly. Wrong torque, wrong pattern, head or block not decked. Could be a plethora of things.

I would drain the oil, and do a couple of oil changes ASAP. Like drain, fill let it run a few minutes n repeat. Then do a compression check.
 
it also could be the front cover as well remember there is a cooling port from waterpump housing to the block and if that didnt seal properly water will leak directly into the oilpan
 
Alright guyz.. I was wrong! The puddle was left by my cousins car :) And I didnt think of it @ the time or check because my car was @ the frame shop.... LoL - I went and checked the oil and it was a tad low (so im burning oil somewhere) and the rad was a bit low too, because i had pulled the rad a month ago and put str8 water (evaporated) LoL - Damn I feel like a NOoOooB - But thanks to everyone for the input! I really appreciate it! See you guys at countyline soon :)

I made sure to put in all new o-rings and silicone on the front cover where needed - Thanks for the input!
