today i was at work at sears in the pembroke lakes mall,
im working on a car and everything is dandy when my manager calls me and tell me that there is a 240 that has driven by my car twice within the last half an hour and the second time they passed by they stopped and looked like they took a pic with their phone and then sped off towards pines my other co worker was in his car at that time he went after him and got his licence plate number, i dont know if it was some one that was just admiring the car or if its some one that wanted to try n steal it, just thought i should let u guys know, from what my co worker and manger told me its a faded red s14
 
Wow...i hate it when ppl do that. My 240 isnt really that nice...so i assume its to steal it lol. Then again i been asked if i wanna sell it like about 7 times. I dunno 240s are turning into the biggest craze now....its good but i think its bad at the same time.
 
just take precautions....you have an alarm?....steering wheel lock or qr?

when i was working at pepboys that happened to me all the time....one time sum kid came, got out of his car and started taking pics of mine. I mean like pics from all angles.

But just take sum precautions....prolly just admirer's tho...
 
yea the car has an alarm i always try to park it as close to the door as possible, but the big store manager bitches cuz we gotta leave the parking spaces for all the millions of customers that come to sears, but when my other manager saw the car drive by twice and snap a pic he told me to bring it in the shop n park it inside

im not saying whoever it was wanted to steal it but passing by twice and snaping a pic is kinda suspicious
 
get a killswitch. this happened to me once that caused me to lock my keys in my trunk (bad idea) i parked far because we had to, then i saw an old mercedes with two middle eastern guys in it and when they saw me get out of my car they like freaked out and did a literal circle to get a better look at my car, i was only less than 20ft when one of them got out, i walked back over there popped my trunk and acted like i was getting something and he like jumped back in the car and sped off.

that shit was scary. just take precautions maybe when it gets late move your car closer to the shop.
 
Funny broe, I have a red s14, a little faded of a color as well. I remember when I first saw yours at Sears, I didn't want to come close to it just not to make the owner uneasy if he/she was around. Then I came into Sears and met you. That's why I asked you for approval before I came near it. The 0 offset really draws attention for whatever reason. I feel it is a bit disrespectful to take a pic though before even talking to the owner. I wouldn't want that done to my car. You never know specially with all the 240s stolen latelly. Hopefully he didnt snap a shot at your license plate. On the other hand it may be a little boost to a 240 owner's ego right? That people want to come and admire the beast and all. They just should be a little more considerate of your fellings about strangers getting close to your car and taking pics and all. And for the record, it was not me LOL!!!
 
yea bro cant be too careful these days. its sucks cause im an admirer as well but i just have to assume that anyone who asks me about my car is a thief.

i remove a relay from my car that youd never be able to figure out which one and figure out how to start it without it. I place a dummy one there thats hallow its fuckin classic if somebosy want my shit there gonna have to tow it LMAO
