ive never heard of anyone rebuilding a diff in a s chassis, only getting a new one.
chuck, i lot of the big company brands out there like kaaz, quaiff, nismo, mazdaspeed, trd, cusco...all of their clutch lsd's have a rebuild kit that you can purchase...becuase after long periods of abuse the clutch packs wear out and they dont lock as much or slipping of the gears is a more common symptoms....i know that only works for clutch packed LSDs tho....

i should go with a heavier weight? its got 75w-90 in it now... i've changed the gear oil but never ripped one apart.

i know that you buffoon! im talking about stock 1-way pos lsds.

theres nothing you can do to the vlsd except change the gear oil the viscus goo is non serviceable but adding friction modifiers helps

you sopsoe to be using 75-90 in the trans (manual) and 80-90 in the Diff, according to the FSM. USE REDLINE )The red stuff) works great, i had it in my car for about a year and when i drained it, it was still RED, well pink really. If you want something cheaper and still good use Mobil 1 80-90W synthetic, still expensive but worth it IMO, same for trans also.
