btw the titan motor onl y make 305? i figred for its large displacement it would make some decent power like in the 350-close to 400 range.
Jerry does have a point considering its easy to make power out of it with stupid bolt ons.

the problem with the titan motor is just that , its a truck motor. last thing i would want to do is pull out one truck motor for another.
long stroke to make fuck loads of tq down loow and a horrible cam to boot with a weak 6krpm redline, stock to stock the VH45de/VK45de is way better than the titan motor.

which models did the vk45 come in? and whats the big difference between the VH and VK series?
like said age, but the main difference is the vh is a much better motor.
vh has 6 bolt main studs, factory girdle, beefy conecting rods, good head flow, closed deck etc
the vk has open deck, tiny connecting rods, shitty head flow and no girdle
The VH series will take far more abuse and will make 800 hp on stock motors where the vks will run into honda like problems with the cylnders rocking back and forth and the rods breaking
so 45 would be a better platform stock for stock. how is the aftermarket suppoert fo these?
