Vids from yesterday

yeah everyone freaked out and alot of people didnt come to the event because of the snow.

^ yeah lol

The tandems were interesting, made me remember just how fast a E36 slides compared to 240's, I was running corded 205/40/17 SS595's and I had to back off from hitting the other cars like completely out of the throttle. I would catch the car in front so quickly even if I left them space at the start. Its gonna be nuts running real grip when I get more power in this thing.

the silver S14 is an RB20 with mods, the pink sil-80 is a 280hp SR, sooo no they are around the same power level as me plus they are alot lighter.. The E36's rear suspension just has alot more mechanical grip.

no offence but to me your initiations seem a little late. my philosophy is the earlier the better, but i think that is also the general consensus. just my opinion.

Yes I would have liked to enter earlier as well but there was a picknic table very close to the entry of the turn plus I was having issues my rear suspension. one of my rear trailing arms had loosened itself up and was making the rear feel pretty unpredictable. I was taking it easy on entry.

Believe me If I felt like I could enter earlier I would have.

i dont mean just the first corner but the other clipping points as well. its kinda hard to tell with the camera setup like that so i could be wrong but i think especially on the hairpin it was delayed; it may be best to yank the ebrake just b4 the hairpin.

^ well the hairpin if you were to yank the ebrake you would loose too much momentum to carry it around the turn. Plus the chicane was a bit of tight manji so you were not going all that fast when you came out of it into the sweeper. I'd be pretty much full throttle trying to get the car set into that turn. I was having trouble with it all day really.

I don't quite understand how I could have entered the hairpin earlier since I am transitioning out of a turn the opposite direction into it. If I transitioned much earlier I'd just end up eating cones.
