I feel that everyone should read this wikipedia entry on drifting; both noobs and veterans alike. I learned quite a bit from it. I hope everyone reads the intial paragraph under "Drifting" that says it can be done informally for fun, because explains my participation in the few events I've participated in. Moreover, I've learned the appropriate terminologies of the methods I've used before: braking drift, power-over [when wet], inertia [when wet], lift off, and of course, the e-brake drift. It's all in there, and I honestly believe it's a good read for everyone with an interest / commitment to the sport of drifting.
