Verifying timing chain noise? Click to cringe.

^Yeah, everything looks fine, a little slack on the chain at TDC but otherwise looks good.
Timing checked and checked by Abe, he also recommended the timing chain replacement, but never did I think the rod would come a-knockin'.

Just moved the car to jack it up, worst 5 seconds of my automotive life. I'm going to pull it out and open it up just to see if there's anything in the oil pan or maybe some wear behind the front cover, just out of curiosity.

Next KA is on the way though..
 
yea thats rod knock i had a single cam ka that sounded jus like that i sold it and it ended up shootin a rod out the side of the block as the new owner was drivin it home
 
I told him what the knocking waz so he knew but its kinda funny how i drove the car alot n it never blew up on me and it died on him ryte after he got it from me
