I've never seen it before either. I think it is a dumb swap. They only made 553 ps. If that was the goal, they could have just use the 2JZ since it is so easy to make that kind of power anyway.

According to StupidStreet this car has 1000hp+ and has topped out at 249mph.

It is possible those are low boost or shakedown numbers. To me it looked like they were holding back substantially.

I thought that the engine was stock internally, so they couldn't run high boost setting??? I dunno though, its still suhweet in my book.
