TURBO Qs

enthalpy does good shit dude, enjuku runs with them on their FD cars

They have been using AEM EMS's for the last 2 seasons. Tuned by Enthalpy, yes - but no longer ROM tunes.

Since you are going to be running low boost, you could get away with an safc...I did it for three months at 12psi. It's easier to get the enthalpy ecu and your set. Jim Wolf ecu also makes a good tune...Somewhat rich, but safe....
370cc injectors are fine...I wouldn't boost more than 12 lbs on 370cc injectors.
Buy a fucking...Knock Light and wideband if you're going to tune it yourself (safc). :bigthumbu

lol, 200whp is crap. You might say thats all you want, but really your going to run more. If you get an enthalpy ecu and at least 480cc injectors you will have the room to run more boost or switch to a t28. 480cc's are not that big. They are definitely still controllable by the ecu at idle and wot. I might have to bump the idle up on my car when i run 780cc's at 50psi because injector pulse widths will be under 2ms. You dont have to worry about that. A friend of mine was running a t3 on his ka and after 8psi his 370cc injectors leaned out on the dyno. I know a t3 is a larger turbo, but thats not cool running your injectors at stupid high duty cycles. You could easily run something a little larger and the ecu can still manage them.

A tuner should never detonate your engine, If you are the tuner, you should never detonate your engine. You should never tune based off a knock sensor, if you are, you have already caused detonation in the combustion chambers. A properly tuned car in proper operating ranges will not detonate on its own; although fuel starvation, high air intake temperatures, or high engine temperatures can start detonation. For saftey if you like you can install a knock sensing light, but its only extra extra insurance

When I ran the t3 on my car at 12psi. I ran 550cc rx7 injectors...Something like 80% duty cycle.
lol, 200whp is crap. You might say thats all you want, but really your going to run more.
He's right...I wanted 200 horses just to drift...That didn't last long for me, I was doing something around 250. Start with bigger injectors, do it right...or do it twice...You might also want to upgrade your maf...I ran an n60 maf.

ok... tru but i dont want to touch the block for nothing. i want stock internals.
im only puttin new chain tensioner, chain. and water pump.

on a stock engine like that..... you think i could do the t28?

remember i want a RELIABLE setup for daily driving.!!!!

T28's are expensive...I would buy a holset hy35 ($150-$350). Good for 300 hp. Go on ka-t.org. There are a few guys running them hitting about 230hp on 8psi. 280 at 12psi. You will spool around 2600, I don't know if thats 2 laggy for you. If you need info on a holset let me know...I had 2 of them...I find it very common for guys to pop their ka-t's on the first drive with a t25 turbo, lower rpm boost might be a little more dangerous. I may be wrong though...
H1c dyno..

Heres a vid with an h1c holset on stock block... :bigthumbu

This may be 2 much for you... But fuck man, boost hits so damn hard.
Here's the turbo I had (hy35w)...Picked it up for 135.
