Turbo for ka

What's up everyone I just got a 97 and I was wondering what is needed to turbo the stock motor and what is a good kit with a fair price?

Or should I just spray the motor lmk.

I've always had usdm cars sorry lol Idk much bout the ka motor itself.

And mods if this is in the wrong section lmk.
 
1st good compression on the
motor
2 arp headstuds and cometic head gasket
3 kit wise nobody really make a full kit besides greddy and cx-racing/eBay which are not really worth the money you can peice a kit toghter from used parts or jgs has a really good semi kit that just requires a few things
4 depending on what u want power wise a fuel system is required for good numbers
injectors fpr fuel pump
5 your going to need a tune somepeople use a afc to tune me myself I like rom tunes but there many opitions
6 all your little things guages boost and wideband ect depending on preference
it really all depends on what numbers you want there t25 t28 t/3t/4 top mout setups bottom mounts ect

Thanks alot I'm gonna start looking around I don't really want ridiculous power I just want it to move nicely.

considering that is the only headgasket for ka besides felpro which blow out once you get over 350+ were stuck with it I mean unless you have secret headgasket nobody knows about cause if so please tell me so I
can get one of these magical headgaskets myself lol

this 100% i just did one on my na ka with arp studs and having everything machined to perfect and the shit still blew couldnt take the compression from single cam pistons

What were the studs torqed down 2 ?

arp told me not to go over 75 or it stretchs the bolts and voids the warranty. dosnt matter now the shits done after driving the car maybe 5 times. its v8 time :bigthumbu

well theres so few people that have ran the setup im running and had it last more then 3 months. It fuckin ripped ass when it ran but it was a very bitchy motor i had to adjust the timing from when it was cold and hot which is a pain in the ass.

Yeah I heard about sohc in dohc was bitchy sometimes
I hear though had a ka-t for 2 yeArs now and it hates me but it's a love hate
realionship once I get a coupe it's coming out the 14 and in the 13 and the 14 will get a nice rb poweplant
