What's up Lads?

I'm ordering some tower bars F&R and i'm not much of an expert when it comes to what they are made out of or what not. I don't wanna spend alot of cheddar bob so I'm looking into the ebay ones but theirs a variety but at the end of the day they are all made out of the same material stated (aluminum).

Here are my options:

1.http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Fron...essories&fits=Model:240SX&hash=item53e3953576

2.http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/DNA-...essories&fits=Model:240SX&hash=item3f00ca0202

LMK guys! :bigthumbu

pointless.. think of how flexible aluminum is... now think of it trying to stop chassis flex... yeah

if you're gonna do it, get something made of a sturdier material

But even legit brands like tein, cusco n shit use ALUMINUM too so i'm lost o.0

sounds plausible^^

but i think even the majority of them, even in higher name brands, are still aluminum.

I mean i don't see much difference in the two besides color, although the purple ones look alot sturdier....

i think they should work somewhat the same as some of the higher brands, just not like tanabe, hks, shit like that...lol

idk, bills tower bar is cusco i think, and its huge and steel i think

for the rear anything in this type of nature will stop flex in the rear, all those other type of straight across type strut bars just suck usually because of the endlinks where the strut bar threads into the bar & connect to chassis. usually better depending on how they are constructed. Don't quote me on it though

No that's some pseudo science right there. Forces come in a variety of flavors and while an aluminum bar can't withstand bending, tension, or to a degree torsion; it still won't compress easily which is exactly what its function is as a strut tower bar.

Educate yourselves before making up stories guys. http://www.jdm-option.com/eng/pr_CUSCO/towerbar.html
