my car still wont start, im getting spark and way too much fuel, when i crank for a few seconds and look down into the plug i can see a puddle of fuel, i hae a walbro 255 installed, and none of my injectors are leaking. could this be caused by plugging the charcoal canister? and i also eliminated all the vacuum besides the fpr... did anyone do this and where did they get their vacuum to the fpr maybe i picked a bad vacuum?

you cant guess your fuel pressure you have to check it with a gauge. any vac port on the intake mani will do fine as long as its not blocked or t'ed off along with something else.

You have a stock FPR? If not, GET a adjustable one with a gauge. Vacuum should goto intake mani off that.

i know i cant guess im not trying to, i know i have pressure, but if i crank for a few seconds it completely floods the cylinders, none of my injectors are leaking so im not dumping fuel, and according to that i should have a good vacuum to the fpr... so why is it flooding my cylinders so quickly?

The fuel pump is supplying way to much fuel to start, next put the car as close to stock as possible and work your way from there.

You have a stock FPR with a 255 pump thats why. It's putting out more pressure than your fpr can hold back and its pushing through the injectors. Theres a reason people upgrade them..

well i just upgraded about 2 days ago in the process and it hasnt been running for about 3 weeks since i swapped it

i had the stock pump in and gas was dripping out of the feed line... same issue before and after the fuel pump

its been 3 weeks with no start and i cant figure it out... before the fp no, now obviously theres too much fuel if i crank for a few seconds it doesnt fire not once, and if i look into the cylinder i can actually see a puddle of fuel

^ exactly, i knew it may run higher than the spec but maybe a few pounds, not enough to completely flood the engine in 3-4 seconds. recommendations for regulator?

ever think you have bad injector o-rings??? and how are u sure you dont have a sticking open fuel injector?

do what paul said and inspect the injector o rings and take the rail out and watch the injectors spray
also it seems like it not start due to a timing issue, have u put a timing gun to it?

no my sr jus hydro locked from a stuck injector and an ebay fpr..it seems like a stuck injector..good o-rings but too much fuel gettin in sounds like a stuck injector....and wat bout no fire...my car would still fire after a min of crankin

ive been out of town but yes i have already taken off the fuel rail and watched them spray that is how i know they are not sticking open, and they all have different pulse... as far as the o-rings visually none of them look damaged when i take off the fuel rail and none are pinched or inserted incorrectly when i reinstall it...
