Throw Out Bearing Question

I was wondering if its possible to run a hydraulic throw out bearing on rb20 (ka / sr also works )tranny instead of having an pivot fork.

i dont know how it works but i know my boss had one in his 2jz

friend had a Tilton one on his civic it got rid of the pivot fork, It gave him nothing but trouble and went back to stock no more problems. Not to say they are no good just he didn't have any luck.
