throttle body spacers=rwhp??

ok so looking for more power making bolt-ons was going for pulleys, but people keep discouraging me. so a friend of mine added one to his truck which made it sound sickk. i was wondering if other than sound it makes a different whether n/a or on boost. and if so how much its like 60-80$.

it does give it a slight whistle, but i havent ever seen one make a change on a dyno

Apparently your intake air charge is supposed to slow down, to then do a Pirouette (but only the outer parts of the air) and then...... DO NOTHING. Get sucked down intake runners and the ballet twirling motion is pointless.

I could see it whistling, the air is catching on those thread/fin thins when going through. Total ricer crap.

Oh, sorta like a "turbonator"

the theory behind throttle body spacers deals with the movement of air throughout the rpm ranges. in theory a longer intake will raise your lower end while a shorter one will raise your higher end, but not really. all it really does is move your power band.
