This s**ts pissing me off

Yeah i dont have an impact gun, the only thing i have is my dads power drill that you ccan put the socket on and charge the torque settings and shit, but i think a breaker bar could probably get the same torque

what im wondering is if i keep spinning it the way i am where the whole metal thing is spinning, will the whole top assembly just come apart form the bottom and i can get the spring of fthat way? or am i better off decompressing the spring so theres pressure, and trying it like that?

And torque is not the issue here. You need an impact. Buy yourself an electric impact - i have one and it has saved me much time and headache while allowing me to perform more tasks in my garage.
