thinking about attending UTI

don't go, I went because I it didn't cost me anything. If I had to pay I wouldn't have.

this kid i know went to uti and got a whole bunch of certifications and still cant find a place to work.. maybe cuz hes part rhetaaard but im not sure... lol

to me it seems that uti makes it too easy to get your certs...

also why would you go to a school that stole the medical world's acronym for urinary tract infection?

dont do it.. my boy graduated from there with the nissan scholarship .... and where is he working now .. NO WHERE because there aint no jobs. and he still need to pay that premium tuition.

no. but its literally like 10s of thousands of dollars less then uti, and a better education in my book. teacher's are awesome shop is even better.

Did you go to UTI? no? So how can you say that another school can give you a better education? Guessing?

i went to ati and my boy went to uti and the 30000 u r going to spend is for nothing get your ase's and get a job. i have all my ase's in auto and its still hard to get a job and if u dont know that much about cars dont go to school thinking u are going to come out knowing how to work on car if u know what your doing get your ase's if u dont good luck

Its all in what you make of it. I graduated From UTI, went and got 1 ase certification and i now work at 1 of the largest custom tuning companies in the world. Im no millionaire and im still paying of student loans, but im never hurting for cash, i live on my own and i make a decent living.

Like I said, its all in what you make of it. after graduating uti, i read over some ase tests and where before my head would have spun right the fuck off, the tests looked like childs play.

UTI, Wyotech and so on are expensive for a reason. Alot of big name companies look to them to get there mechanics, you pay alot but get to meet certain people and get to do things other schools dream of doing.

And no I didn't go to that school.

Exactly.

All of these people that are saying "my friend went" or "my boy went" need to stfu, your friends and "boys" are probably fuckin retarded and incapable of learning. They get out of school and cant find a job because they are lazy and then blame it on the school because they think that if they graduate, everyone is gonna want to suck their dicks. Not the case. I moved to West Palm Beach from Tampa to find a good job and it was definitely worth it.

If you go there with a closed mind (like 85% of the people that i knew when i went there) you aren't going to learn anything. It's common sense.

I went, graduated top of my class went on to the mercedes program then eneded up working at a merc dealer. Hated life, joined the military.

when i graduated, i went to VW, hated my life, and LOOKED FOR SOMETHING BETTER.

dont go there with the intentions of working at a dealership. you'll commit suicide.

like i said if u dont know that much about cars dont get into the auto repair do something else like a/c

the reason for going to this school is if you dont know anything about cars. if i knew a lot about cars at the time, i wouldnt have joined UTI.

I was supposed to go to uti in Orlando, after i moved over there and kept going on tours for the school i noticed that half of the people there are RETARDED and basically have no background on cars whatsoever and it is reallllyyyyy expensive .
Robert Morgan's program really does suck if you look into it its not that much of a big deal
, try looking at miami lakes technical center that's where i did my automotive service tech and not i go to the Toyota/Lexus t-ten program classes are cheap and it is most of the time hands on in the shop .

i would look into a vocational school over there in maimi. usally if you can qualify you can get finacial aid and whatever else kinda help you can try to find. this route you can learn from the ground up and its cheaper.

here i even did a baby serch

i can tell you, over here in naples there is one school that alot of the dealerships look to find top students to work for them.

Yesterday was my first time attending a live class for Chrysler. Our instructor told us a bit of info about UTI/Wyotech grads. When they graduate they are already 5 years behind.

i guess that would explain why i work for a company that creates custom tuning software for cars before they even hit the streets...

vas do you of anybody else that went to uti an is doing as good as you?? Ive been reading up an a lot of uti students have more negative things to say then positive but they could be the 85% that go with closed mind like you mention before but the 1 thing that pops up a lot is that uti is good way to get your foot in the door but idk im still iffy about it

:eek::eek::eek: $34,000
