Did anyone watch the premiere tonight? That prelimenary fight was boring but the blood from that open gash was insane, they said they could see his skull. I want to see what kimbo can do. Opinions?

yeah the 1st fight wasn't to impressive to say, although the gash on his head was crazy. and in my opinion if kimbo doesn't improve his ground skills and wrestling then he might not do so good.
 
Just saw the fight and it was hella boring. The guy who won was so hyped up as such a badass wrestler but if he wouldn't have cut the guy, he really wouldnt have done much at all.
 
Yeah the fight sucked. The taller guy wasn't listening to rampage about watching for the tackle everytime they stood up. That cut pretty much made him lose focus on the fight.
 
i didnt get to see it but i dnt think kimbo is gonna do as good as people think he would all it takes is one mistake
 
decent fight, hence why you dont put a fighter with no ground game vs. a D1 wrestler. In my opinion Roy Nelson takes the show, he is a black belt in jiu jitsu (beat frank mir in ADCC) and was the IFL HW champion... Wes Simms if he stays calm might also take it. Kimbo should see the show as a learning expirience, I rolled with him when he was just starting and i was able to scape/ and i got his back twice, He is already in the UFC. Dana White knows he can make money out of Kimbo, so he will find a way to put him in.
 
First episode sucked but that gash was pretty sweet. I hate all this publicity over Kimbo though.
 
that dude was a puss and a RAtard. couldnt he tell the other guy was gonna tackle him the same exact way everytime and take him down..derrr
i like how dana admitted that hes talked a lot of shit about kimbo tho, he def. needs to step up his ground game up. other then the fight it was good

^Yeah he stated that he has talked alot of trash about him, but a good businessman recognizes when there is money to be made and make the most of it. All Kimbo has to do is show up and prove himself in the ring. I question his jaw though cause he got stunned by Seth Petrozelli about a year ago in another fight league over in Europe I think.

As far as all the prelim fights I really hope that they are not as slow and boring as last night. Something happens later in the show where Rampage rips a door in half,LOL.
 
why do you guys keep on saying tackle... there is a huge diference between shooting in for a double like the guy was doing and a tackle. Kimbo used to fight for EliteXC which also had Gina Carano and Jake shields. The fight was boring, and you get that when you have a guy with zero ground game, being ground and pounded by a wrestler. A gy with such long legs wasnt even capable of going for triangle or even an arm bar... He just craddle when he got hit, and soon as he saw blood he freaked.
