-I think jumps will be the next new dimension in drifting. Like WRC on pavement. It so sick seeing cars landing sideways and blowing smoke. It makes my zipper move, lol. And it makes sense that euro drifting is ahead of us, being so close to the motherland and their parts availability/ skylines/ silvias/ never having to swap out a KA24 boat anchor.

how come we don't hear any rumors or mishaps from around the world but here! Everywhere else just gets along with others and the sport is defined as "The Sport" to be in!

Because we are in the US of A. If there is no drama, it's boring. Look at NASCAR, almost every weekend there is some sort of fight or dispute. In other countries, motorsport is motorsport. Not reality TV.

I understand there is drama in Formula 1, but that is a multi billion dollar juggernaut of a motorsport where rules and regulations are strictly enforced,but Formula Drift is stupid. Last year they fined Takatori for changing the front suspension type on an R34, but they let Ken Gushi out in a Scion that was converted to rear wheel drive, and now they have Tanner Foust in a Scion with a NASCAR engine. They should allow engines from other racing series in drifting. I'm gonna build an AE86 with the Toyota Formula 1 engine, full independent rear suspension, and DTM style aero. Let's see how Formula D feels about that.

As for the drama in D1GP USA, the Japs have their egos and do not like the fact that the Americans can beat them once in a while. Look at Ryuji Miki in Formula Drift, he can't even get on the podium. Yes, the Japs are still better, but they need to realize that Americans can hang once in a while.
