The 2015 Mustang, offering you the choice to void your warranty with ease

Remember how the Nissan GT-R had a launch control feature which some owners overused and in turn caused their warranties to be voided? Looks like something similar is happening again but this time with Ford and their new Mustang. You see the 2015 Mustang offers a "Line Lock" feature that will allow you to do some groovy burnouts anywhere you please. Unfortunately if you do it at the track, your warranty will get voided:

But what, exactly, is racing? Brian Cotter, global Mustang communications coordinator, wrote via email, "If you are using this feature in an actual race (ex. at a drag strip vs. your neighbor's Camaro) this would create a problem from a warranty standpoint."

Cotter further explained, "[T]here is nothing wrong with testing the capabilities of the Mustang in a non-race environment. You could, for instance, test your quarter-mile time on a closed-course. This would be permissible because you aren't competing against any other car OR against a predetermined time, etc."

Also check out the video below on how Ford guides you through the process of voiding your warranty:

So they installed a cheat button which actually breaks warranty if you take it to the track... but you can play around on a closed course. What I say sounds like fun is go to a dealership and test it out in there parking lot ;) but I find it stupid they try to get people to break warranty
