Thanks to everyone and reply suggestions.

great event....having just a drift even will A+, as long as the cars are running the crowd will
be happy...the less down time the better....I was very glad for the rain even without the
umbrella since it took out the drag, having the racers close to the drift track entry point would be
awosome, I only walked by the pits once & at the same time missed on some drifting
but great job for 1st event at a place that had no Idea on what could become a great addition
to their track...hope they take notice & don't try to get greedy and mess things up
the place needs lot's more up keep, but with a little more organization on their part
future events should only get better

Best to have high safety standars than what they might offer.....by them not staying on top
of drivers/photo & fans, one bad accident or negligence on their part propably take them out of business......due to their ignorance they'll try to blame it on the sport

again great job!

so whats deal? are we gonna beable to go back and slide it up for another event or no?

i mean for real we brought more people out there to watch drifting than he;s had all year for drags. i hope the venue will stay as legit as it is now. i mean i hope he dosnt fuck it up by trying to bump up prices.

and for $10,000 we could get together and rent moroso road course for like a week straight.

That Was Some Rad Sh*t Tim. I Wasnt Sure How The Groups Were Goign To Be But It Turned Out Awsome. I Left After The Rain Due To Having No More Tires.. Lemme Know When U Wanna Do It Again Or Where The Next Event Will Be... I Showed The Guys Over There At Murrays My Vidoe And Some Pix And They Are Interested In Sponsoring More Events Like This.

Whoa! Wait. Murray's wants to sponsor events? Tim, you better get your ass on this. :bigthumbu

Tim, AKSamuraiS14's brother here....listen im interested in renting out the countyline track for a day practice for my guys.....i need to know how much and if possible it could be a day where its just the drifters no one else....let me know through PM please!

^^^ Thats a good idea. Just make it a private drift day. Only drivers, mechanics and staff. It would be way easier to organize. Similiar to how the testing days were done.

Yeah, but I am sure he just meant the Aero K guys.......unless you would let other drifters in with you for a nominal fee. :D Nah, just pushing your buttons, Raffi. Do your thing man.

Yeah I knew what he meant, I just said private drift day so drivers can keep drifting. We all need the practice even more with the proam coming soon.

Me too, it seems like it would be less of a hassle to just have staff, drivers and mechanics. Just a private drift day, its done a lot to keep the driver skill up in other places. If you look at it as a business it makes them easy money.

Listen guys, i know everyone needs practice....and if countyline is saying drift event everymonth, then its a good way of getting all the practice everyone wants....the only thing i had in mind was this;

If i can arrange a private day, i would ask for 20 drivers to show @ $100 a pop. the entire Countyline entrance would be shut, remember the beginning of the road, that sick ass entrance down the runway before the skidpad area we were parked, have that entire front entrance to practice tandem drift and use the runaway for 4th gear manji, then down shit to 3rd gear with ebrake extension entering where the course started for the driftsession event!

If the owner can agree to that, Aero K will throw practice private drift days where just staff, media and drivers are only welcome, and the entire day would be 20 drivers practicing all day, entire countyline grounds, And this would be a monthly thing as well.

Plus this track is 10x safer to practice tandem vs Port Charlotte's Punta Gorda Raceway, don't get me wrong that track is sick as hell cause it feels like irwindale, but the wall is what could cause someone alot of money and time like it did to me......open space=safer tandem practice

I'll pay 100 bucks for that.

That sounds good to me, I'll be sure to save a $100 for that ;) . I wish you the best of luck if you get the chance to talk to them.

You and everyone else on here :D . I think by now they know the amount of interest there is in SFL for drifting. If they get "difficult" then go at them as a businessman. Its easy money in their pockets with a private event.
