so i feel like i need/want to say this, but i've been on this site for about a year now. when i joined, i expected this to be just like any other forum, but soon i was to find out it wasn't at all. for the past year i can truly say my life has been somewhat shitty, and i feel like this site and everyone on here has kept me happy and in check. i expected this to be a forum where you just talk on here and thats it, no one hangs out outside if it, you'd have your assholes and you'd have your jokers, but this isn't anything like that.

i've experienced nothing but the coolest and most down to earth people. so many people willing to help out its just amazing. another thing i realized is everyone on here is so diverse! i'm used to everyone being the exact same on the forums, like my home site fortmyersracing.com but there's lots of different culture and diversity all around, everyone has a different personality thats awesome in one way or another. i'm just so glad josh introduced me to you guys.

and everyone i've met and hung out with has been nothing but nice and helpful. when i first started talking to people like erick, kyle, raffi and stuff like the advanced drivers, i expected them to be cocky assholes but they are anything but, nothing more than some down to earth guys who love the same thing i do.

i just want to thank bladder and everyone else for developing such a close community of friends, i really feel like you guys are my family, and i'm really thankful for having all of you around all the time.

i also want to thank everyone who comes out to the kart track for hanging out with me and josh, as well as the shitloads of people i've met attending events. you all are so awesome, and its been so great to know you.

you all have literally made my life so much better over the past year, and you all have done so much more than most of my best friends over here i've known for over 15 years. i just cant find the words to thank you all enough. you've made my love for a sport and a hobby grow into something amazing.

Why don't you write me a poem geez lol ;) . Yeah man this site very different than just about all the other ones I've been on. There plenty of good people on here.

PS Keep working on the "track" stuff, that would be great. If you need any help to show the amount of interest there is you know a lot of people here will help.
 
hey, at the beginning there was one Planet.. ups sorry wrong story... Dude Thank You for being part of this forum.... over 3 years ago we didnt count on us getting so many members. We were a bunch of SFL guys being picked on by Erik Jacobs and the guys from DGtrials... I still remember like yesterday the day i met Guillermo(e30gangsta) and franz(dori) I already knew bladder since 9th grade.. We played pool we talked about all kinds of ramdom shit, quillermo was loud and annoying(still is) but some how this forum was created. We look back now and all i can remember were good memories except i try to block out hialeah speedway (lol)... So as One of the founding fathers on this site I Thank all of you... Who waste countless hours of you life in this place... THANK YOU to all of our members, even to the ones who only become members to sell crap
 
yes this site is great, i miss all you guys and really which more sites (cough mine) was more like this.

On the real. When i met benji and dodcious and we tossed the sfl idea around this is what we wanted. A COMMUNITY not some bullshit place. Ive seen countless people post a thread online hey i need help dropping a sr. And me and others who have never met the guy have showed up. That goes to show what sfl is all about. Like benji sayed he just runs the site. the members is what makes sfl sfl. I thank god that i posted that meetup thread on dg that started the later sfld revolution. without this site i wouldnt of never meet a bunch of people i consider family not friends. LOVE you guys and i hope to keep seeing you guys sideways in the future. If its still allowed hopefully youll see mine and your kids sliding it up like we once did :)

not only does he slide it he gutted it too! who does that? honestly hardcore, I don't even want to think about gutting my car and its a fc.
 
Ryan is a cool guy. I can agree with him on our site here in our area. Over half of them should be women. They all act the same. I haven't hung out with him for too long and he is one of the different peeps that hang with us. You guys do have a great thing going on here. I can say since he told me about this site I am here more then FMR also. I will be at an event real soon , I will suck ass though , but thats what I am here for to learn.

Would I drive 4 hrs to hang out with people if I didnt like them and thought of them as family?

Yea Ryan is pretty hardcore seeing as he drives a FD. I give him respect though for pounding the piss out of it
 
haha thank you guys. i figure.. while i'm young.. live like a fuckin crazy man. have the time of my life, i have the rest of my life for regret and repent.

but yeah josh was kinda shocked when i told him i literally wanted to "hit" the wall just for the crowd haha. just for shits n giggles. thank you guys for giving me props. i dont think i deserve them. if other people loved drifting as much as me they'd all gut their fd's and do the same probably, but no they're all "show cars".

i just got bit by the bug i guess. first i tore out the trunk carpet and once that was done, me and josh ripped the thing to pieces. no matter what my car is never good enough, there is always a way to make it better in my opinion.

yea man we are all a big family on here.we look out for each other and we stick together. im on a couple other forums and none are like this we got this community things on lock. lots of memories with people on this site, like frizbee/football in hialeah on guillermos(e30 gangsta) birthday with erick and ralph and all these guys, having the creek boys invade my house for beer pong, countless meets and stupiditys. man you guys are my family. guys are the shit. and MAD LOVE for accepting my girl like one of our own at the event, she felt right at home like she knew you guys for years .FDrifting your one of us man and we love to have you. theres very few people on here that i dont get along with and thats just creative differences. SFDrifters is a not just a website its a Family and WE ROCK OUT WITH OUR COCKS OUT.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! lol.
 
ryan let me tell you. i was stoked when i saw your FD yesterday morning. it looks so good in person. and having the balls to gut that shit. wow. being in group c we kinda got shafted by the announcer but hopefully you still had some good runs. nice meeting ya dude.

well he said group c was beginners, but at the last minute tim and david decided to mix all the groups around, because i was supposed to be in b, and ryan kaufman with the miata woudl've definately been in a, so anyone in group c just because the spectator called us beginners, he didnt know what the hell he was talking about. props to everyone.
 
thank you<3 it was the first time at the track. and i didnt have alot of runs so i never really entered as well as i wanted to exited. next time i will be entering quite faster. i was just trying to get used to it.
