who ever is shooting the kart track please try to get some good footy of my supra.
bro i enter turn 1 at 70 or 72mph according to digital speedo and clutch kick hard on 195-50-15...... i lose speed going tru turn one to about 50-60 depending on how long you stay on throtel... and bro there is no way not even with 400hp that ur gaining speed if you where gaining speed you would be gaining width ur car would start in the middle of the turn and you would slowly widen out to the edge and go off if you gain more than 80+
(sry for the lateness, havent been on in a while)
I dont clutch kick be because of the fragility of the IRS so I just whip the rear end and power over so there is no loss in speed only gain from the start The 275 tires were to wide and would just hook and by the time I was out of the turn top of 3rd was almost hooked. Which is 130mph so I took 20 to 30 off that for what little wheel spin there was. Its not something I was trying to do and the car becomes a little unsettled when trying to ride the brakes to help slow it down. I was trying to slow down because the car kept going to the very far side outide of the turn towards the tires near the shicain (sry for spelling) I'm getting some 255 and 265 to try to help keep the speeds down. I was comfortable with entering at 45 and comming out at 70 but Harri and the other guys with Ter-Tech (very helpfull I might add) out there kept pushing me to enter the turn faster and more agressive. So I did... I just need less grip to keep the speeds steady.
But anyway just a few more days!!!!!!
With the amount of tq you have and the longer gears I dont think going with a smaller tire would be the best choice when trying to slow down. You can spin those tires easily. Usually when im trying to accelerate through a portion of the track I will hold a low angle to gain vehicle speed. You can do the opposite, try drifting with more angle. If you do not have alot of angle in your steering, get more.
