^^^Very wise words :bigthumbu . What makes it difficult is applying what you learned(from reading or vids) at the track. Driving has a lot to do with feeling the car's weight transfer, driving experiance among other things. There are other important things also like tuning the car to the conditions(wet, dry, more grip, less grip roads, etc). To drive a car to its limits takes skill in driving(techniques) and also how to set the car up to maximize it to your needs.

It's easier to practice first and then watch the videos so you can relate your experiences to the theory at hand.

lol good point. I can see the cop coming over and you'll be like "not now I'm trying to learn what this guy is saying..."

i learned to drift from NFS carbon...

you n00bs.

Yeah cause in real life letting off the gas and jamming back on it speed you up alot while slideing, and there is no such thing as countersteer just turn into the corner..... shit maybe thats why I suck :)

tray sliding seems pretty str8 forward... trays under rear wheels... ebrake up.. have a blast! Now go get some video! :)

I watched drift bible, a million times. I still watch it because its an excellent guide for line, and i suck at drifting.

one very important concept that was said on the d1nz site was that if you dont master the little techniques then you should not move on to the next one. Ive tried doing things more advanced with out me mastering the previous skill and I didnt learn a damn thing, i was too scared and didnt have the confidence to complete the drift.

I love the drift bible tho i saw it very late and yet i still learned from it, i found it weird that out of all the techniques he showed...he didn't show the clutch kick

u sure they didnt give it another name

nah closest thing was shift lock, which was what i used when i first learned to drift...then i realized how badly it was raping my drivetrain lol, thats why i find it odd he didn't go over the simple and trusty clutch kick instead
