not brake checked, he just lifted on the last 50-75ft before entry. he was ditching me divin in and then all of a sudden im on his door and entering earlier. long story short, they claimed there was a car issue, judges didnt dock him for being weird on entry (he also stalled in round previous where other car hit him, and he still won the round). but yea, pissed me off...
as to this... tureck looked like he got lost in the smoke and just got into the wall. thats how i remember watching and thinking. i didnt notice a real change in tanners momentum at that point.

reading some of these replies from some of you doods, is just funny. Its obvious very few in this thread know whats going on.
The judges this year want straight door riding. AT ALL TIMES. you let the lead car gap you, and they get bummed on you.
All of the big money guys drive sketchy. Reason being, most of them arnt having fun unless they're winning. That being said, they will do whatever it takes to win, as long as they think they can get away with it.
The whole DA judging thing, isnt what ya'll think it is. Those doods can drive. Think about every foul call in FD, and 9 times outta ten, you can look back and find doubt in your thought of it being a foul call.
Its real easy to jump on FD/DA's shit. Reason FD gets shit, is cause FD IS DRIFTING IN USA. What else is there?! NOTHING! From what I've been reading, things might start to like actually get reallllllyyyy fucking sweet here in the next year or two.

i told you pat its not cheating unless you get caught.
They all brake check. Its a sport - some guys play rougher and dirtier than others. Some guys follow every rule to a T and protest anything possible. Some guys are in the middle. Tanner is a bad ass driver and had a great run, brake check or not. Until they have monitors on brake pedals, we'll never know unless its terribly obvious. I have seen such cases in FD/NOPI/etc. This was not one. And I'm not one for conspiracy theories so the DA favoritism thing isn't an issue for me. Go Tanner.

yea but the use of brakes is a technique and is important so even if brake lights or monitors noted use- its part of driving a race car. the 'intensity' might matter i guess but still, it could be correction and not intentionally trying to screw someone up.
as far as i can tell, its gonna always have to go off of visual 'judgement' from the judges.
