tag transfers and registration out of state???

ok. so im moving back to miami in the next month or so, im not a resident here in tennessee so screw that route.

i bought my car in kentucky 2 weeks ago and selling my car. as i understand the plate will always belong to me, that said i want to buy an insurance via online and transfer my tag to my new car and register it from here.

any insight? iv never done this

iv been over worked and iv been procralaxing to much, so fl dmv close at 430. i was on hold 30 min ... thats why i just rather ask here and hope someone knows. plus its the weekend. i gotta find time so till then..
