so my headlights reallly suck and i wanna buy some bulbs that dont suck, but idk if the problem is the old headlight design or if its just shitty bulbs

so what im asking is has anyone here ever put quality bulbs on their shitty headlights, and had a noticable difference? idk why the cutoff on my headlights are so damn low, but im really getting sick of only being able to see 5 feet in front of me without my high beams on

any other headlights i should check out?

yeah im not sure what to expect, but my lights are horribly horrible so idk

pretty much all new cars use HID's right?

my friends got a fit and he just put sylvania silverstars in it, so that means there bulbs and not HIDs, but his "old" lights you could still see in front of you like normal lights

im guessing its cause either their better bulbs, a better design, the headlights are higher off the ground, or both?

Most likely your headlight lenses have fogged up as well? You may need to clear them up or replace the housing, which ever is better...

New headlight bulbs will improve vision because your current lights have probably aged and dimmed over time. Also, your headlights may need to be aimed so that they light up more. If you do get sylvanias, you will see a difference, but don't expect the sun to come out when you turn them on.

bro get HID's....JC-Performance ftw....its only 135......and u wont have to worry about the rest of that b.s. and u cud clean ur housings if u want...but get hid's and jus ride out unless u wanna do a retrofit wit projectors

i got sylvania performance. they light up much better then the halogens. just make sure u align ur lights correctly when u get them installed. and like everyone said.....dont expect HID quality. to me its just stock+ lighting

well i literally can see what seems about a little bit less than a car legnth in front of me with my lights if i dont have the high beams on

in my car having the highbeams on is a HUGE night and day difference
where as in most cars ive been in, its the same, just without the cutoff

so the yellowed out lenses really make a difference?

i have silverstars in my zenki...they are much better than stock but def no hid...Id say do it for sure makes the car look a little newer since its whiter and not yellow....

Options.

1. Buy new headlights, either oem or the GDM glass.
2. Take your headlights out and sand and polish the crap out of them....which won't really last long.
3. Re-aim your headlights

I used silverstars in my Camry once, honestly it didn't do much due to the yellowing of the lense + I retrofitted projectors in. Get a decent set of fog lights.....they will help out a little bit.

I currently run silver stars in all my cars, however all my cars are sealed beam glass lights...so that deff. makes a difference in quality of output. Anything thats on your headlights will decrease your light output...think of how sunglasses work, same principal.

hids dont do shit without projectors, it just makes a lot of glare

if i polish my headlights to get rid of the sunglasses effect, how much is that gonna help and how long is that gonna last for?

hid;s without projectors are fine. just make sure your windshield is clean and it takes away most of the glare. shits are wayyyyyyyyy better than any bulb.

just clean your lenses and get the dam sylvanias ther like $20 its not that hard of a decision unless your a baller and can get badass hids
