O i hope to god i got a good lawer and the cop doesnt show for some reason I pray that the fines are nothing moree than 1500 or im def screwed

dude, just go to court and represent yourself, if you see the cop that pulled you over, ask for an extension cuz your lawyer didnt show up.. 98% of the time you get the extension, do the same thing until the cop doesnt show up and plead not guilty. or take a chance and plead no contest with the cop there and get w/e the judge feels is a fair punishment for what you did. no need to spend 750$ on a lawyer to do that, it's not like you can argue the case. If you want, I'll represent you for 500 lol same guidelines as ticket clinic, no guarantee.

LOL im not sure i want to gamble this manny was right if i lose not only do i get fees theres a 99% chance of suspended liscense and i cant have that i hope i sell the car b4 then to show the judge that i know i ****ed up and im payin for it with my car so i can pay whatever fines they give me maybe they'll go easy on me?
There will be no cop at your pretrial. There never is. If you decide to take it to trial (by making a plea of NOT GUILTY) you will HAVE to go to trial and the officer WILL be present. The state's prosecuter will probably not allow for stupid court games like extensions and crap with a ticket as serious as yours.
If you show up and plea no contest though and you have a good driving record, tell the judge you were not racing but you were trying to pass someone to make the next intersection or exit or whatever...admit that you shouldn't have done that and you will slow down instead the next time - chances are the judge will slap you with a small fine and a court fee but with no points added to your record. Worst case scenario is that you'll get everything already stated on the ticket. Best case scenario is you'll walk with nothing to worry about. I've been trying my own cases for years, there's a few tricks you can use. If he cited you under the incorrect statute number, you can win so easy.
I want to add though, why get pissed at the officer? He's just doing his job. If I'm speeding and I get caught, it's not fair for me to hate the cop. BS tickets on the other hand (like being told your getting a ticket for not wearing a seatbelt when you're sitting there with your seatbelt on) are something to get mad about.
Anyway, if you can't figure out the statute thing, pm me the number on your ticket and the EXACT description and I'll do my best to help.

LOL i know what you mean im really pissed at myself but i need to let my frustration out on someone right and sinces he was the one *****ing at me i let it out on him but never face to face LOL

Any person who violates this paragraph commits a misdemeanor of the second degree, punishable as provided in s. 775.082 or s. 775.083. Any person who violates this paragraph shall pay a fine of not less than $250 and not more than $500, and the department shall revoke the driver license of a person so convicted for 1 year. A hearing may be requested pursuant to s. 322.271.

well i dunno ive had a couple of tickets in the past but the were all no point no school and a fine they were handled by a lawer i dunno if they still show up in my driving record or not

I went to ticket clinic today also and they said $750 too. I'm just gonna go to court and plea no contest. Hopefully it won't be that bad. I might have to shave my beard and pronouce my last name different because they might think I'm some kind of taliban. LoL

Ok chill im facing some nasty charges. Lueding and evading a officer. A felony in fl. Long story dont really wanna talk about it. Call miami ticket clinc its like 200 bucks. For that kind of ticket. ive taken everything there. Please do me a favor and post your citation #. Is it 196.2? Let me know. Youll be fine dont worry.

but best thing to do is call a ticket clinic or what not and have them do things for you, they will have you come in and talk to them and see how things will go from there. but do get yourself a lawyer, dont go in there with the intention of pleading not guilty either, no contest is probably your best way to go. even if your ticket is thrown out and there was a court date setup you might have to pay some court fees. and that can run around $200 just for the fees.

i am worried about it being expensive but what im most worried about is loosing my liscense for 1 year
the big bold # to the top righ are 0468-ekv if thats what your refering to??
