SR20det VS RB20det

F dat stick with a KA..........NOT!!!! SR..great power.. less weight...less work to put it in... more parts available.. i think. dude just go sr.

sr is easier to install and there is parts avalable here, rb parts are hard to get. I'm not sure but i think the power is close for a sr20 and a rb20.

KA-T. Girls love teh torque and larger displacements. SR20DE is 140hp/132 tq & KA24DE is 155hp/160tq. Add a turbo to either of them and the KA will have more power. So if a stock SR20DET is 205hp at the crank; imagine how much a KA would have. Also the KA has a iron block which is a plus. It's heavier but stronger.

That is a false assumption.

A KA with a turbo kit will run about the same as a S13 SR20DET which is a Redtop Both with similar modifications and the same pounds of boost, but the ka is not set up internally for a turbo. Yeah it will produce good hp and more torque than the SR but you will have to go through rebuilds if not tuned right. The SR has a lot better top-end speed than the KA while the KA does have the low to mid-range advantage over the SR. Building a KA24DET "For Drifting" will pretty much cost the same as swapping in a SR20DET to your 240sx. The Reason i choose the KA24DE is because it is more affordable than the SR20 and you do not need a lot of horsepower to drift, this is in my opinion.... The KA is great for beginners at drifting though. :)

hmmmm Sr or Rb? i would go for the RB26DET, more power and torque, its an inline-6 and you can find one the same cost as an sr20.
