Sr20det does not rev up.

OK guys heres what has been happening. The fuelpump and eng control fuse in the fuse box has not been getting power to it. I managed to get power to it and turn the car on and drive it around the block. I come back park it and try to rev it up and it wont pass 1100 rpm without breaking up and turning off. Any ideas? maf cam angle sensor? Anyone ever had trouble with this?

Anyone know if the old apexi safc's have issues?

I know if you unplug a maf it will run like that. Check your maf signal.

definitely check the maf make sure it's wired right is it a z32 maf?? if not mess with SAFC settings

yea but i thought the MAF being unplugged/bad was more like 2k rpm, so if oyur tach is correct, it seems strange.

maf is most likely it or....

i had very similar problem and ended up was a short in the ecu. we didnt really find it until we opened the ecu case and just inside, a pin was shorted before it even made it to the board. *car would start and drive but wouldnt go up in revs. very similar to maf problem.

ok guys. I check the ecu fault code 12 came up. Thats maf i changed the maf still same issue.

Ive come to the conclusion that a fucking 4 year old wired up this car. I rip back the electrical tape to see what bullshit i find and o and behold the wires are just wrapped around each other. No soder, no crimps nothing. How fucking hard is it for someone to wire up a fucking sr? Now i gotta go back and fix all these fuckups.
