spark plugs question

so i bought some new ngk plugs from pepboys, i asked the guy if they were gap right and he said they were and are suppose to be at 0.044 , so i checked and they were at 0.026 , should i gap them to 0.044 or will the 0.026 still be good? its a 94 ka with 140,xxx

yea ive always been told that theire at 0.044 too

if u bought them new they should be gapped correctly if not u could have the wrong spark plugs, if they are the rite ones tho just regap them
 
When i bought mine they were already gapped at 0.044 but i always double checked before i put them in, advanced hooked me up with the appropriate ones so maybe double check what brand theyre suppsed to be.
 
i always buy those ngk..the supose to be gapped at 0.44 .. and all sets i got were gapped to 0.28 .. im talking about more than 10 sets already.
