Southeast Pro-am?

Download the PDF section 7.4.1 "No bolt-in cages allowed"

It would cost about the same for a new cage as it would to turn mine "weld-in"

no it wouldn't... it would be quicker, cheaper and less work. but than again if i got my license, with no corp. sponsor, i cant even afford Formula D

Well, I guess once I get my 86 project driftable again, I'll need a scca/nasa legal weld-in cage. I really need to learn to weld already.

I thought FD and Pro-am ran the same rulebook, if they don't cool. I'll check the pro-am site and see.

Ok, they said NASA or SCCA approved rollcage, so I'm good. Oh wait, we don't even know if this event will even happen, LOL.

eh?

i talked with the guys at fd and no-one said anything about a florida event. would be nice if it happened though. i could be a judge. lol

I don't know for sure yet but I got an email from ProAm Series telling me they are trying to workout something for the exNOPI drivers as you couldnt attend qualifiers with the schedule conflicts.

I dont know what its going to be, but they said there will be a decision within the next week about it. I know this doesnt help the 'other' guys, but they have a point. Non-NOPI drivers could ahve gone to one of the qualifiers. I mean Sean Love and I went to frikken Ohio for ours back in he day.

Formula Drift doesnt even recognize Nopi as an amateur drift series unless something has changed radically...lol.

also word on the street theres a $1000 buy in spot to gtlive...but thats no fun! (unless you suck and have money, then its cool i guess in a pretty gay way)
