So I've been seeing the "TBA" date for the Florida/Georgia pro-am qualifier for a while now, but has anyone else heard anything about it? I'm sure some of you SFL dudes wanna make it up to the Nationals since it's on the east coast this year. Last year we had the event at Moroso, but I didn't have a cage or anything back then. Is anything like that in the works this year?

lol. I wrecked at the qualifier last year. For no reason too, because I had no cage. HAHA! It would be cool if they already specified a date.

i hope they come down, but since i was able to go to the nationals last year, im invited again back this year. Its was a fun ass trip

I just got this e-mail from Brian Eggert @ US Drift/ Lookout, LLC

"Zoltan,

The only way you get directly invited to the PRO/AM Championship Events are if you previously held a Formula Drift License. If you attended the PRO/AM event the prior year, but were unsuccessful in earning a license, you must attend a qualifier event this year and place high enough in order to attend the PRO/AM Championship Event.

As for the Florida event, we have had a few issues in securing a venue in time before the Championship Event, so we are still trying to have one, it just isn’t confirmed yet. For more information, you can visit www.proamdrift.com

Thanks,

Brian"

i doubt they will secure somthing before the proam event.....they have had that tbd up all year long on the site:mad:

They are trying to set up the florida event and i know its in the making for september ish. Its just on delay due to sponsorship but the guy in charge is persistent so i expect it to happen 4 sure. Should be in ft lauderdale somewhere downsouth from wat iv heard. Im trying to get a cage by then so i can play in tandem.

Well TBA September makes me nervous because September is like a week away.

FUCK

I'm so pissed they outlawed bolt-in cages :mad:

are u serious?? they allowed bolt-in cages last year... thats bullshit if its true....... thats why is pro-AM
