Something to laugh about

skid pad is $20 and you should only need one pair of tires your just making excuses

um countyline isnt even close to homestead and they dont ask your age at countyline i drove like 6 events with a open diff it can be done

yeah just work on getting the car reliable and working right now, it will pay off later when you can start doing events one after another and dont have 6 months downtime fixing shit like I always am.

yea i hear ya. its really basic stuff i gotta do. power steering leak, oil pan gasket and new valve cover gasket. im just lazy. i think im just gonna order the stuff some time next week and do it all at the shop i have at my school

ya i was going to say double that speed

i miss the days when i was stock body/stock suspension
dirt drifting is so much fun!
and as long as you have no big leaks your find at countyline

oh and i slid my first event when i was 17 also

none of you are taking that turn at 50mph so stop telling him to double his speed. most people don't enter drifts on the dry pavement much faster than that.

well i dont know what they consider big leaks but for me they are all small leaks. for like 30 bucks and a couple hours of my time i could fix the oil leaks

You don't need to double that speed at all. The reason your tires are digging is because you are putting to much angle into it, your stock suspension, that shit should not dig at all. And if your getting understeer your not initiating hard enough into the turn. Keep at it, dirt is the best way to learn.

well i don't have a speedo
but there's a pavement turn like this by me and i hit it at about the rev limiter in 2nd
id guess 50+

+1 i used to do this on a HUGE dirt parking lot for trucks, like in 3rd gear UBER huge turns with my old stock monster truck and welded diff. jaja

fun times......

not saying its not but radars are heart breakers, and the only way to be sure w/ tire spin and what-not.

besides^ if your at rev limiter BEFORE you enter, how are you able to spin the tires- you have no gear left...

unless you brake/ebrake into it

try on grass. thats how i learned a little bit. u wont waste tires as much either
