May 29-30 Homestead D1 Driversearch on Saturday, DriftShowOff competition on Sunday.

The organizers pretty much shut everything down for about 4 hours on Sunday while PitBull took the stage I guess to make more people watch the 'concert'. FÃœCK PitBull, he sucked, and he still does and he ruined the drift competition. They never even did qualifying, the whole day turned into demo once they actually got us on track.

Anyway, here's the videos, if anyone has better hosting for them so you guys can download if you want, let me know.

I'm glad there's none of me. I couldn't drift AT ALL back then (not that I can now either haha).
 
Cool, i remember those days. I was there spectating and it was the first time I had seen real drifting in person.
 
Ahh I was there in my coupe!

I love that track I did a scca school and a couple races there. That is the best part of the track. I would own all of them lol. well besides sean!

i just remebr when mattbak came to hialeah n talkd smak about us spining out but thats all he did on the track :laugh: and then he stoped drivng because he had a mechanical issue.so they drove 4 hours to com down here n spinout n do a donut n pak up n leav.the cars nice but my sohc coupe won novice class and was lokin way better sideways then his did on a trailer that day :laugh:i jus dont thnk he could handle hialeah lik juan :bigthumbu
 
This was also my first drift event ever. These vids bring back so many memories. Like burning my skin to a crisp because of the sun on both days. I never saw drifting live before, it was like I was in some sort of heaven.
 
i remember vick if any1 remembers him here was tellin me i should of went n tryd out n my old white ka bak n the day but i was lik ka?heated springs? hehe i didnt even get to go n watch :(
