no im not trying to hide the vins, I just take the removable VIN so when I acquire chassis I dont have to spend money xfer the title again

whenever i sell a car or buy a car. especially if theres the SLIGHTEST chance of there being an issue with me being able to register it or anything along those lines (vice versa for buyer and seller) i put it in the bill of sale that the car will be traded back or a full refund in a certain amount of time. and get them to sign it with the DL number.

i had something like this happen to me..... got a letter saying "my" car was impounded, but i told the company that i sold it to someone else and i supplied them with their information.
