solid lifters Vs. Hydraulic lifters?

what are the pros and cons of both? i know one is virtually maintenance free but the toher is better for applications of horsepower and what not
 
Depends on HP and how high you want to rev solid lifters require other mods also
 
you'll never have to worry about solid lifter stuff. You can rev a hydraulic lifter to a bit above 8k rpm.
Solid lifters you have to adjust ALL THE DAMN TIME. They're VERY expensive, and only worth a damn if you are revving over 9k rpm.

Trust me, just dont worry about it. Walker Wilkerson makes like 530whp on a 2.2 SR with hydraulic lifters
