sohc to dohc question

I'm throwing a dual cam into my 89 and I read that I need a dohc throttle cable.

Can anyone comfirm this?

yes you do. sohc cable is too short and the throttle body wont open the whole way.

it opens just fine. youre throttle cable just lays across the valve cover. i use SOHC cables all the time.

you wont get WOT with the single cam cable.PERIOD. ive used them also and they are not right. dont do shit half-assed.
