i already know chances are ima get either 240sx or ae86 anyone know how to do sleepy eye i know about the brown wire and the 6 wire trick but is their someone that has actully done it and wheni get my car could help me with it:eek:

wow welcome to 2002 tech thread

brown wire is the best way to do that chit man

lol... its exactly as it says, pop out the little button that opens the lights, and cut the brown wire... takes less than ten seconds

yupp... once its cut, its a process to actually make them sleepy, a little working with the button control...

doesn't the brown wire thing only work if the lights are off? i assume katsu wants to be able to use them on as well.

no the brown wire cutting only affects the raising and lowering of the lights, the switch on the turn signal thing that actually turns on the lights/brights makes the lights come on and off... and even if you cut the brown wire you can set the lights to fully up, fully down, or anywhere your heart desires in between

have you done it? if you have did it come out well? if the response is good i'll put my pants on and go do it right now...:D

Heres the way i did it...now listen carfully cuz its long....

Disconnect the motors, plug is in front of radiator on each side. then simply turn the knobs to desired sleepyness. ten times easier then the brown wire..to me.

yea i did it, and like i said it takes about ten seconds and theres still the full function of everything, except you can stop the lights when theyre moving, and basically put them on whatever level of sleepiness you want :D

^^ and lets see you could do that, the only problem is theyre not going to be exactly equal number one, number two you have to get out of the car and redo them everytime you want them sleepy, and number three that just requires too much work so its not good

lol problem solved!! but you dont have to turn the headlights on and off again, just flick the thing towards you
