lmfao im sure we all had those experience's as newbs... lmfao i can tell you ive hit Small trees, Light poles, Power boxes, Street signs, curbs, and other misc things ohh the good ole days :laugh:

lmfao? u kidding me? you can hit shit at the track.. .fucking tires, Walls, even cones can fuck shit up they can split ur body kit if u have one...

and i always did my drifting in New development housing places where its nothing but dirt and poles... noone lived there and nothing but just roads and signs, and light poles.

everyone here started in the streets. all rodd is saying is that with all the events going on theres no reason to do it in the streets these days. i mean if you think about it theres not a whole lot of skill is even gained on the streets.... so why do it? everyone crashes. you, me , that guy last night , but when you crash at the track its in a control enviroment which is safer for you and everyone else around you. nobody is flaming him because he crashed...... its cuz he did it drifting on the streets and almost got himself killed or really hurt.

I wish sarcasm and a sense of humor traveled a little bit better over the internet. Im just busting balls, alright man? No hard feelings intended. Ive hit curbs before, just got lucky. Everyone here has street drifted at one time or another.
 
I haven't...I have ridden shotgun once thats it for my street drifting career. Started on a track and thats where i'll stay.
 
street drifting is stupid cause even though your out at 2am theres still people driving. say you hit a corner a few times and its all good then all the sudden your mid slide then a car comes through the corner your fucked. not only are you putting your life in danger your putting random people in danger which is not cool. You might think your cool and your hot shit cause you street slide but if you look at it like this dude just totaled his car its not like finding another 240 shell is expensive or hard but you could pay $55 for a countyline event or 500+ for a new shell. when you do the math its just not a smart choice plus add in there getting tickets and lossing your lisance and then where are you at. And now with the countyline events every two weeks theres really no excuses. If you disagree with me then good for you i dont give a shit hit all the trees, polls, and signs you want.:bigthumbu
 
sometimes while im just driving to work i get that weird feeling in my pants that causes me to slam down the pedal as i make that left sweeper through the intersection. i just cant help it!!!!! now i cant surpress that feeling long enough for a countyline event!!! so that rush to the turn lane just as the light turns yellow downshift and pop the clutch is just gonna have todo for now! enjoy
