_CONTACT BLADDER-MASTER TO BE PUT ON BEGINNERS LIST!!!!!:bigthumbu_________________________________________________ ________________________________________________

Hey folks, this is the BLADDER here hijacking hachi's post. Just wanted to announce that for this upcoming skidpad event, we have allotted 2 hours of track time strictly for beginners (A drift clinic if you want to call it that). Which means only beginners will have access to the track for 2 hours. After that, the course layout will change to the way we had it at the last event, and everyone else will get to slide. We will have 2 cones out on the track so you could practice some of the basics like donuts and figure 8's. Plus, Dr. Juan Henao and I will be there to coordinate and instruct the session.

In order to allow an ample amount of seat time and instruction time, we will only be allowing 10 drivers to take part in this. So if you want to get on the list, just send me a PM. Last thing, we will be doing this at the start of the event. Which means that for those that are on the list, you'll need to be there when the gates open. If you have any questions, PM me. Oh and the list:

1. Abraham Bustamante
2. Rodd Becker
3. Adolfo Rodriguez-Reyes
4. Courtney Squire
5. Jose Ferrer
6. Isaac Rodriguez
7. Alfred Barrios
8. Brandon Dias

yeah tell me about it i found out at the gate and was lucky to have the extra 5 bucks

Damn I'm interested. I just got my car, its bone stock, and I don't know anyone in this forum or other that's into driving. Basically I'm on my own all the way but I know that if I keep telling myself ''maybe next time'' then I'll never do it.

Oh yeah, and had to learn to drive 5 speed for the first time (by myself), so Im new even to using the clutch and all that funk :bigthumbu

But fuck it. I didn't buy my car to be a lurker and the only thing that attracted me to drifting was how much fun it looked, not much the "social" aspect of it. Im an adrenaline junky. Gotta bite the bullet sometime, go, make an ass out of myself, be humbled, have fun and learn from the experience.

So do they have loaner helmets available for rental or do I need to get one on my own...

seeing as i dont have a job every cent counts right now i think im just gonna hold off till the judged event gives me more time to get my car on point

man ill prolly run that event and tell them NOT to judge me like last time. i just need seat time

hmmm must check my tire situation...especially after the last skid pad event

I can't slide my vert?

I ask because I remember Dorby sliding with his S2K.
