its so sad, but i cant say it isn't for the best i cant imagine how many people get hurt because of idiots that rip through there... at least i got to drive through it.

cool thing is, the cabin my family owns is about a 15-20 minute drive from deals gap (the dragon) among many other crazy roads, going up there soon for it. should be fun, not the dragon, but other roads that are safer but still fun.
 
dont worry noel, we're going up to my cabin sometime soon, and i know of some better roads than the dragon (which seems crazy, but true) speed limit on the dragon is 30mph, speed limit on the roads i found is 55-65, so you can actually speed a bit and not worry about getting raped by cops.
 
well i'm sure cops will be smart enough to keep it that way seeing how many idiots crash
 
Dragon sucks. Everyone is so excited to drive on it, but when you do you will regret it. My driveway is more fun to drive up and down then the Dragon.
 
when i drove the dragon it was way to twisty to have fun on.
plus the number of bike's crossing the double yellow's was stupid, i almost too k a guy out who came hella low in my lane. id love to go drive the other road's that are talked about aorund that area.
 
it is stupid, the speed limit is 30mph, and the roads are so twisty you'd be lucky if you could go any faster than that. there are some better roads near by, still twisty but faster. i'm going up there in december to stay in my cabin for a week and i think i'm just going to spend a week there driving around the roads.. and fishing
 
its not closed, its open to anyone who wants to berated by THP, its open you can drive or ride it all you like.. bring lots of money for tickets. its a good road, but to much tourists and motor homes, semi trucks.. all dangers...
