this is the link to a file from Jim Wolf Technology (JWT). if you follow this wiring diagram from the z32 maf to your harness, just matching up the colors, twist them togeather, soder, then heat shrink them, you will be golden. The z32 maf has include the mafs connector and a bit of harness so you can complete the wiring, i strongly suggest that you GRAB A FRIEND or SOMEBODY who at least has the confidence to do this and read the directions \ line up the colors with care. Its not that hard.

WARNING- to use a z32 maf you either need a reprogrammed ecu, or some other piggyback that is able to convert the z32 maf signal into something your sr ecu can read. If you simply just wire this togeather, your car will not run correctly if it dose run at all. If you dont have any idea or have heard of these things that i have talked about, get someone who dose know what these things are and throw them either lunch or a couple dollars for the trouble.

My ka s14 mafs has one ground that is in the harness, but the z32 mafs has 2 grounds, One of the grounds needs to go to the harness, the other needs to go to the chassis or a external ground. Consult the owners manual of a piggyback computer for mafs signal conversions.

or get the tomei pigtails and not worry about shyt. its all color 2 color then you plug it in. done

or you could just match up the wire map, its not hard. 3 wires to match 1 to an external ground, why pay the extra money and shipping \ time delay for something that could be solved with a little brain power?

lets just hope were helpin out the thread creater.

240SicknessX's post properly explained the complete solution. its not just the wiring in of the air flow meter, its the fact that he needs an additional device or a reprogrammed ecu. hes trying to add a z32 mafs to a bone stock sr , replacing his broken sr maf
